Sarah Ferrese, PA

Sarah Ferrese is a certified Physician Assistant at Metabolic Medical Center in South Carolina, specializing in medical weight management at the Mount Pleasant, West Ashley, and Murrells Inlet locations.

Sarah graduated summa cum laude from West Virginia University, where she earned a B.S. in Biology and a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education. After graduation, she moved to Japan to teach and travel. While in Asia, Sarah realized her vocation was to help guide others along their path to healthy living. She subsequently earned her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2012. Her honors include the Virginia Kaufman Award for Academic Excellence and membership in Phi Beta Kappa.

In addition to her medical expertise, Sarah is a certified trauma-informed Yoga teacher and Reiki practitioner. She is currently pursuing certification as a Mindfulness Coach.

Sarah utilizes a personal, integrative approach to assist each patient in achieving their health and fitness goals.
